Back from Barcelona

So, I'm back.
Barcelona was really awesome. We went from negative °C in Stuttgart to 20°C and sunny blue skies. The trip was with Stuart Hugo Lillan and JP. We went to a lot of pretty interesting architectural tourist sites, including La Sagreda Familia church that has been being built since the 1800s. There were other places like Gaudís Park and a couple houses that he designed. We went to this restaurant named La Fonda 3 times - they had some really good food for low prices. We also went to a few bars and that was also exciting. Stuart and I went to The Wooden Spoon Irish pub and saw Man U beat Liverpool in the last minute of regulation play.
We went to the "worlds largest aquarium" and... it wasnt. I was disappointed that no one was eaten by a shark. Hugo played with pigeons.. OH right, almost forgot. Friday night after the pirate bar Stuart kinda got mugged by some people and lost his camera. JP kinda got assaulted by some spaniards and lost his phone. Rebecca (a girl that we met in our hostel, from OK) lost her purse - so her passport, wallet, and i think camera and phone. and she was supposed to leave the next morning. didnt happen.

Other than that, it was probably the most enjoyable trip so far.

And tomorrow I'm leaving for Rome. I hope my "mugging" luck doesn't run out there. Jocelyn will probably get kidnapped anyways. :)

all my pictures from Barcelona and the previous trips and more going out nights in DE are up on my webshots site at: http://community.webshots.com/user/markrcpde

Ciao
