So, if you haven't heard, there are 5 liter mugs of beer at this bar called Troll. Every now and then we pressure new people to go and try it. Before I left for Rome, we got two Americans to do it. JP and Hugo. This was probably one of the funnier 5 liter nights. JP (about 5'9" and does water polo etc) went through most all of it looking and feeling sober, and just as he was 2/3 or 4/5 done with it, it hit him and had to go to the toilet.. a few times I think. He ended up finishing it at a good 3 hours. (then kinda went to sleep at the table) Hugo on the other hand (about 6'1 or 2" and bigger guy than JP) turned drunk within 10 minutes, and acted drunker and drunker for about 4 hours until he finished it. It was pretty great - falling out of his chair trying to sit down, hitting on the waitress, dancing.. it was great. And then as he finished his 5 liters, he proceeded to throw up back into it. We'll count that as finishing I guess...
They both came to the occasion with fauxhawks and left with awesome stories :)
